Trip Ninja — B2B travel SaaS

Design lead at a travel-tech startup, from the product to the brand

I set up how design worked at Trip Ninja, then led it end to end: a booking platform for travel agencies, a rebrand and design system, and a new marketing site.

Overview

Travel technology that helps agencies get more out of their flights content.

Trip Ninja offers a sophisticated API and a front-end platform for travel agencies. As the design lead, I established the design practice and owned design end to end: user research, future product ideas and roadmap planning with product and engineering, interface design, and product marketing.

QuickTrip

A booking platform for agencies that want the technology without integrating the API.

Rebrand

A refreshed identity and a WCAG AAA design system across every touchpoint.

Website

A marketing site, designed with the CEO and Sales Director, that grew demo bookings.

QuickTrip

A one-stop shop for travel agents, and a way to grow their business.

Most of my work was on QuickTrip, our agent-facing platform. Agents can do everything they traditionally do, like searching and booking flights for their clients, plus a set of features we designed to help them grow.

I worked with developers and product managers to assess outcomes and prioritize what came next, designed the user flows and wireframes, and ran usability testing on the features before they shipped.

Four QuickTrip settings screens: profile, agency details, adding a new user with their data sources, and the list of users

Self-serve sign-up

Agencies can sign up and get started on their own.

The admin panel

Agents manage their business, customize their search results and track their progress. I took it from user research to flows, wireframes and final UI.

Rebrand

A brand that says what Trip Ninja stands for: authenticity, innovation and connection.

I led a rebrand to bring Trip Ninja’s visual and verbal communication in line with its values. We introduced a refined colour palette, modern typography and a clean, WCAG AAA design system, so every touchpoint felt consistent and intentional.

Collaboration made it work. I brought stakeholders in early and listened to customer feedback, so the new brand landed with our own teams and with our customers.

Website

A fresh, modern site that put the technology first, and grew demo bookings.

Product and sales teamed up to redesign the website, with a new approach that highlighted our technology and helped us stand out. I worked closely with the Sales Director and the CEO, and we designed seven pages in total.

After the launch, booked demos and overall site traffic both went up.
